House Woodfern

I admire this family for taking their Tuscan home and transforming into it into a contemporary home, all the while living in the space during the dusty demolition work. It took about two years and at times the family of four lived in one bedroom.

As a result, this project was unique in that we worked on rooms in phases from 1 through to 7, creating spaces where slowly the family could escape the building site around them. This home has many a spot where you can curl up, enjoy a glass of wine and read your book. The patio and living spaces are beautiful in both winter and summer with  the sunlight filtering through. I love the bold floral couch in the living room that draws the eye toward it and then on toward the garden. This is a friendly home, full of love and hospitality.
